Some cameras, lenses and other pieces of equipment are submitted for repair in good or
fair condition, others have had a hard life!
We believe that any estimate should be based FIRST on a technician’s
examination and assessment, NOT a sight unseen GUESS over the phone based
on a computer database of other previous jobs which may not be similar to your fault.
While this may give you a quick answer, you may well be accepting an unnecessarily
high cost while ignoring what your job really needs.
Free examination and verbal Estimates are provided, if you
bring your equipment to us between 8am and 2 pm Monday to Friday. It is
the quickest and most efficient way to address most repair problems. Sorry this free estimate service is not available for cam-corders.
Our factory trained technicians will examine your equipment, and you will
be advised of the cost involved. You can confidently decide on an estimate
that reflects the parts and labour that your individual repair needs. Then your repair can proceed without further administrative delay.
Detailed printed Estimates
Detailed printed Estimates are provided in the following situations. Equipment which is sent to our workshop by courier, post, delivered by another person,
or which requires dismantling to define the fault.(This also includes insurance
Estimates) In these cases a pre-paid estimate fee is applicable.
Film cameras $75. Digital cameras $75 (including GST)
Panasonic Cam-corder estimate fee $ 90.00
If the estimated job proceeds this fee is deducted from the labour amount
after the completion of the repair.
If you require your equipment dispatched back to you, we have a set freight
fee for $22.00 (within Australia) includes transit insurance, packing & GST.
Detailed printed estimates are valid for six weeks from the date of printing.
