Nikon

As your authorised Queensland Nikon Service Centre we would like to make you aware of the following camera service advisories that have been listed on www.nikon.com.au

Whilst only a limited number of cameras have been affected by these advisories, if you have a camera exhibiting the following faults you should send it in to us for service. Upon confirmation that it is relating to the service advisory the camera will be serviced free of charge in our workshop for the listed fault.

NIKON  D2H, D70, F55, Coolpix SQ, Coolpix 3100, Coolpix 5700

                         

D2H

Electrical component failure

1) a freezing of the electronic analog exposure display accompanied by a display of the same exposure settings regardless of exposure and/or camera settings, or

(2) is unable to focus automatically, a Nikon agent will service it free of

charge.

D70

Electrical component failure

(1) when a memory card is inserted, your D70's memory card access lamp blinks, locking camera operations and preventing operation, or

(2) with no memory card inserted, the camera will not turn on despite the battery indicator showing a fully charged battery, a Nikon agent will service it free of charge.

F55

Electrical component failure

While only a limited number of F55 cameras are affected by this advisory, if your F55's auto-focus system is not working, a service agent will service it free of charge.

CP SQ

Electronic component failure

(1) images with a strong colour tint,

(2) images that are totally black and/or

(3) images with visible defects,

CP 3100

Upon confirmation that the problem is associated to the appropriate Service Advisory, your camera will be serviced free of charge for the specified fault.
